I'm a wasteman

Hello

I'm sorry, I am a wasteman.
If I had any fans they would have left me. I just realised I have not put finger to keyboard on this blog all year. Granted it is february but lo and behold I am still a wasteman in the blog posting world.

Anyway I have been busier than a bumblebee in Kew gardens.
I've boosted up my Japanese ,my website is in real development stage and I have actually made and worn my own garms.

Things are looking up. I just need to plan what i want to do with the next few years properly and I'll be happy.

Oh In about 6 weeks I will be on the way to japan for 2 weeks with me Mrs.
Takeshi poking my belly a couple times made me realise that it needs to go.

Hopefully before then. i don't want themthinking I am a travelling Sumo wrestler.

Anyway Mata ne

ON IT

the things you work on till you can't work no more are the things you need to work on till you can't work anymore

Does that make sense in a logical way.

I just want to add that i got in from Thai Boxing at about 9 and went straight to the mac-

Left the mac at 1 and went straight to the kanji -never left the Kanji, i fell asleep with it.

I loved that, I like visual art, hopefully I get a tablet for christmas and then move on from there.

I swearrrrrr by the power of grey skulll

Ariyo makes no sense, and he speaks in a weird way.

loner boy and the bellydancers

The title sounds like the name of a band , but this was no band my friend this was the title of my yesterday evening.

I wonder how I came across yesterday smartly dressed black man posted against the wall BIIRU in hand, uttering a word to no1. Did my shyness come across or did i look stuck up like so many of my peers told me I came across in the first year of UNI.
I'm bloody shy sometimes, among my friends and with their backing i can be loud and boisterous but ge me on my own and I will shrink like your bank account balance would if you gave your details in reply to Baba Tunde's sob story of an email.

Last night I went solo to a japanese language exchange event www.midievents.com, ended up being a really cool night though japanese belly dancers and all.

speaking to a stranger is daunting enough for me, I mean i can ask for the time or directions BUT to strike up a convo for no reason (ahhh Kowai desuyo) Scary, for real. Multiply that feeling by the fact that you speak completely different languages and then time this by the power of shy and then you get me standing against the wall with a BIRRU.

Nice guy called danny had no problem initiating convo but as more me, the wall was my friend. With Dannys help I got talking to some guys and the conversation started to flow. Increased my japanese network by 3 which was cool, spoke a lot of nihongo as well. Bare in mind I've been doing this for a few months i have to pat myself on the back just a little.

Anyway MATA

La Tube

I wanted to write this yesterday but for the same reason "complacency" that has prevented me from writing regular postings I did not.

Anyway I left Leeds last week moved back to London,
I am on the bench (in between projects) - which means I'm being paid but I'm not working, but you can't stay on the bench too long or you get fired. In
Anyway I have to travel to our head office in Aldershot meaning I have to take the Jubilee line.

I forgot what the tube was like- Bloody sardines- I used to work in the city and had become desensitised to the crowding and pushing and smells and getting hot and the lack of respect and discipline. I can liken my reacquainting with the tube to a guy who has been stuck in a dark hole for a year and then suddenly open his eyes to a brilliant bright light. The tube however is not brilliant it is a man made interconnected series of hell holes with multiple deaths carriages assigned to each hell hole that ride through these hell holes transporting rats.

Get it it's hell. (during rush hour)

at all other time's it is fine and pleasant THE END

I am still alive

I feel bad it's been over a month and A lot has changed.
Kon shu no nichiyoobi kara London ni sunde imasu. I left Leeds with a tear in my eye and have come back to my tiny London room. Benefits being that I'm with the family.

I think I'm going to go to my first london Salsa lesson ever today lol, I'm going tomorow as well but I am slightly addicted to Salsa.com and all the other forms. I'm not obsessed but I am. I have the week off and i'm trying to sort out my room BUT i have too much stuff for my room, so what can a man do.

There is no wit in this entry lol, just an update - if you want some humour maybe next time.
I have established that I am shy though in Salsa and talking Japanese with the people at the japan centre.

I wo't leave it too lon before i post a real post and not this diary entry style excuse.

Oh yeah I'm going to the land of the rising sun- Just getting that sorted was drama.net

Le weekend of le busy

That is my attempt at French lol, British people make me laugh, they think speaking loud, slowly and by inputting le and la after every utterance constitutes to speaking Le french.

Anyway that was a tangent, I had a crazy week. I danced Salsa from Tuesday- Friday

On Thursday Mo and Brendan who are Salsa dons invited me out with them to Wetherby- felt flattered I have climbed up the ranks of salsa hood. SO

I found myself in wetherby - being asked to dance by people who if they saw me on the street would normally cross the road climb a fence and take a taxi-- SALSA is a whole new world.

Saturday found me in Birmingham with the graduate force-- was an okay encounter-- etap hotel allows you no privacy- the shower has a blooming peep hole wide enough for you to fit your fist through and is at waist height- why oh why!!

Anyway got back to Leeds on Sunday courtesy of Russel brands driving and I went Salsa on Monday- and I am proud to say I did a spot of beginners teaching :D

Can't wait for Salsa on Thursday--MWAH

Advancement

All I can say is I've learnt a lot, that commute I mentioned I made it worthwhile
Japanese Audio Lessons,

I get about 3 hours of Japanese in every day. ichshukan mei kara. watashia wa Nihongo yoku wakarimasu soshte skoshi wakarimasu. I can count from Ichi to KyujuKyuHyakusen Kyuhakyu kyujukyu ( 1 - 999,999). I'm not learning Romaji ( how you write japanese in english) because I am going to learn Hiragana and katakana. (i.e dont watch the spelling)

I feel good now i need a nisan nim japanese tomodachi (few japanese friends) and I can get some practice in.

Dreamt in Japanese , so that's the one.

Not only that I went Salsa last night till the early hour literally Kesa Ichiji ni (this morning at one o clock), I was still dancing. I'm a lot better at that too, need to move up I didn't go to intermediates but I will next week.

Re picture- Samurai Champloo- is the best anime I've seen so far--
